I am a social entrepreneur; I thrive on creating and putting ideas into action. The first half of my adult life I did this in the business world the second half in the social sector. The skills are the same; the application is just slightly different.
My big leap of faith was starting Sage Solutions. It was not easy going from a pay check to relying on my own initiative but I felt that it was what I needed to do next. My intuition proved to be right and I can now boast over 35 years of business and nonprofit experience (I started at age 5).
As for “credentials” my undergraduate degree is in Business Management from Texas Tech University and my Master's is in Nonprofit Management from Regis University.
In addition to my Sage Solutions projects, I teach business and nonprofit management courses at Montana State University's College of Business. I also develop and teach online nonprofit management courses for the Humane Society of the United States’ University and the University of Montana.
When I am not grading papers or facilitating strategic plans for organizations, I take orders from my cat and brag about my two grown daughters and my new little granddaughter! Contact me at email@example.com or 406.570.7109
"Terry has provided the guidance we needed to keep on track and to assure that our nonprofit is running like a business should! Because of her, our policies and governance are in place, our board is working together well. And now, we always have someone to call to make sure we are stewarding our donations in an ethical manner. I don’t know where we would be without her!!"
